Hello Connaught Families,
We are contacting you in regards to the NO STOPPING zone on Argyle Street. The entire block (on the east side) between 13th and 14th Avenue on Argyle St. is a NO STOPPING ZONE. This signage means that families are NOT PERMITTED to park on the east side of Argyle Street at any time!
Currently, the traffic at the corner of Argyle and 14th Ave. is EXTREMELY UNSAFE for our Comets to cross as a result of our families not following the traffic signs. Parents are parking at the corner of Argyle and 14th St. to drop off/pick up their child(ren). This is not permitted! The safety of our Comets is our utmost priority and we really need your help to ensure this! Please plan a pick up/drop off point with your child(ren) that is not on Argyle Street (between 13th and 14th Ave).
