Happy Pride Month! The Junior and Senior GSAs have been busy planning exciting activities for our upcoming Pride Week (June 9-15) and Pride Day (June 15)!
Regina Public Schools’ Grades 5 to 8 GSA Summit will be held at École Connaught Community School on Saturday, May 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Connaught students interested in attending the GSA Summit should register through the school’s GSA advisors.
We are very excited to announce that Connaught has been selected as a recipient of PHE Canada's Access to Action Grant and Jumpstart's Community Development Grant. These grants are being used to purchase equipment to run an ongoing NASP Archery program. Stay tuned for details later this winter on the start of the program!
Starting in 2023, Wise Owl Childcare Inc. will have limited day camp spaces available to the public for the February and Easter school breaks.
Smudging is a tradition, common to many First Nations, which involves the burning of one or more natural medicines (plants) gathered from the earth. The four medicines (plants) commonly used by First Nations’ are tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass. The most common medicines (plants) used in a smudge are sage and sweetgrass.
